From Home To Handloom
A journey that began at home, grew with belief, and reached many hearts through trusted hands.
A journey that began at home, grew with belief, and reached many hearts through trusted hands.
It Started From Home
Airawati began with a woman whose world was her home. A homemaker by life, but a creator at heart.Between daily responsibilities
and quiet moments, her love for handloom sarees slowly grew. She admired the textures, the patience behind every weave, and the
stories hidden in tradition. What started as an interest became a purpose. And that purpose became Airawati.
Airawati is founded by a homemaker who believed that meaningful work can begin from home.
Balancing family responsibilities and her passion for handloom, she chose to take a step forward. Not with big plans, but with honesty, patience, and respect for tradition.
Her journey reflects the strength of many women who quietly build something beautiful, one step at a time.
Our journey began in the sacred town of Maheshwar, nestled on the banks of the Narmada River. Here, where Queen Ahilyabai Holkar once patronized the finest weavers, we discovered our calling.
Airawati Fashion was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to bring authentic handloom sarees directly from the artisans' looms to your doorstep. We started by working intimately with master weavers in Maheshwar, learning every intricate detail of the traditional craft.

Master Handloom Weaver
35 Years of Experience · Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh
Lakshmi Devi has been weaving Banarasi sarees for over three
decades. Her expertise in intricate brocade work and her
understanding of traditional patterns is unmatched. She leads a
group of fifteen weavers in her village, passing on her knowledge to the
younger generation.
Each saree that passes through Lakshmi's hands takes anywhere from
15 to 45 days to complete, depending on the complexity of the design.
She takes immense pride in every piece, treating each creation as a
work of art.
Working with Airawati has allowed her to continue her craft while
earning a sustainable income, and she hopes her children will one day
carry forward this precious heritage.
The Airawati Promise
We envision a world where every handwoven saree tells a story of heritage, every artisan is
celebrated, and every customer feels the pride of wearing authentic Indian craftsmanship. Airawati is
not just a brand—it's a movement to preserve, promote, and elevate India's handloom legacy for
generations to come.
